currently crushing: studded diesel.......

In the spirit of our burgeoning friendship I thought I'd give you the lowdown
on this AMAZING piece of art

It's Diesel by Wittner and I'm seriously crushing right now. Combine studs and leather in the
form of a loafer and you've totally got me.

The biggest decision now is what colour???

If, like me, you're smitten you can pre-order these babies from Wittner just click here

sequins + ripped denim......

Combined two of my most recent purchases here, sequined jumper and
smoking hot Tony Bianco heels with some ripped denim.

The jumper simply doesn't need any words, it's amazing, I love it, that's all!!
I realised after looking back over these shots, that these jeans
kind of resemble the Acne Pop Trash jeans.
They're actually from Jay Jays an Aussie store, and they're from a hundred years ago,
but I love them!!

And these babies, well what can I say. They complete me......hahaha not really,
but you know what I'm saying right?!?

It's really hit winter at home, lots of rain, grey skies and icy winds,
so I'll be doing my best to wear as much crazy and colour
to brighten me and the world around me up!!
And that includes sequins!!

this just in.....alicante

So I think we've established that I'm into shoes, and by into I mean crazy crazy love them!!
I collect shoes like some people collect..........well things they collect.
(No idea where I was going with that!!)

And I just couldn't wait any longer to show you a pic of the latest addition to my collection!!
These babies are by Tony Bianco, a fave of mine.
Alicante is the name, curvy heels is the game!!

I LOVE THEM!!!

They are so comfortable, and the curved heel actually makes no difference to the way they walk.
Can't wait to get them out and about!!

eighties pink + black blazer.......

I don't care what anyone says, the eighties were a great decade. I mean I was born!!
And of course the eighties gave us shoulder pads, BIG earrings, fingerless gloves and mini skirts.
Ok well maybe not everything rocked.

But what the eighties gave me is these amazing pink heels!! And they definitely rock!!
I snapped these up on Ebay a couple of years ago now. The low heel makes them super easy to wear
and the colour gives any outfit a little something extra.
I'm not a super pinky person but it's a colour that been making a slow integration into my wardrobe.

Paired them with some light wash denim, a soft grey knit and my favourite black blazer.

And some super sweet ear candy!!

Hope you've had a great weekend!!

this just in.......a girls gotta have sequins

I'm probably a bit opposite of a label lover, don't get me wrong I'd happily have a sprinkle of
Isabel Marant, McQueen, Westwood, Acne and Burberry in my wardrobe.
But I also happily snap up great pieces for crazy prices from anywhere that takes my fancy.

Some of the most well worn items in my wardrobe have come from the most unlikely of places, I like to think that's my secret.......never judge a book, or in this case a retailer, by their cover!!

Which brings me to my most recent purchase.........

SEQUINS!!!! On a slouchy jumper no less!!!
Oh I'm a happy girl!!

And I picked this baby up for a ridiculous eight bucks on a clearance rack at Coles of all places!!
Traditionally a purveyor of food, Coles introduced a range of
men's and women's clothes and accessories last year.
I hadn't caught a glimpse until now,
and I was actually a little impressed by some of the items on offer.
Which totally proves my point about not making a judgement
until you actually see and feel and experience.

Anyway enough of that!! Hope you have a great weekend!!

xx

P.S. Thank you all so much for reading and for leaving such lovely comments,
brings a smile to my face everytime!!

currently crushing..........floral print

I don't know if it's my love of vintage or my desire to constantly expand my wardrobe horizons
but I'm really digging floral prints. I know I'm late to jump on board,
but that's generally how I roll.
I like to consider trends before jumping in, not everything suits everyone right!!

The prevailing theme here seems to be floral with a black/dark background.

The skirt is an Elizabeth and James neoprene mini skirt,
the shorts are Chloe by Citizens of Humanity
and the top is Whistle '60s at ASOS.

The pants are Camilla and Marc and the jacket Sass and Bide.

I'm thinking a blazer, perhaps with a mandarin collar and a slightly loose fit.
Oh and a midi length pencil skirt, oh and a floaty maxi dress.
Now all I need is to find the perfect fabric......

tan boots + green jacket.......

You know those pieces you dream about and search for endlessly.
Those ones you know will just complete your wardrobe, only kidding,
AS IF my wardrobe could ever be complete!!

This green jacket was one such piece. I'd wanted a slouchy big green parka type jacket for such
a long time but I could never find anything that was just what I wanted.

Then I found this darling thing in Las Vegas earlier this year.
Made the entire trip worthwhile with that one purchase.
I snapped it up so quick, I'm sure the guy behind the counter at Hurley
thought he'd dreamed the whole thing.

Paired it with a black lace dress, so simple and easy to wear,
black tights and another favourite........

My Tony Bianco Tahnee boots, love these babies!!
They're a couple of seasons old, but they just keep getting better and better.

Hope you've had a great weekend!!

DIY inspirations - crazy jewels......

I'm really into the big crazy jewellery floating around at the moment.
I love the colour, the shapes and the almost haphazard way it's put together.

Erikson Beamon at Net-A-Porter

Oscar De La Renta at Net-A-Porter

Erikson Beamon at Net-A-Porter

Three of these fours pics are from Erkison Beamon a design team who I have only recently discovered, and they've been creating masterpieces like these for over twenty five years!!

One reason I love fashion so much is that there is always someone or something new to discover.

Definitely a DIY in here somewhere!!
